White House Admits Using Apology Software For Vice President Biden  (SAT PAR News Oct 06, 2014) The latest in a seemingly unstoppable flood of gaffs from Vice president Joesph R. Biden involving a comment about Turkey admitting blame for letting too many Al Qaeda fighters through their border has revealed the method of responding to the embarrassing public misspoken statements. Most of the gaff come from the Vice president, however the President himself and many agency heads are not immune of course. What has fascinated technophiles and polticos is the admission by the White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough that they use artificial intelligence software to form responses. McDonough refuses to say where they got the software but he does admit that due to the frequency of the Vice President Biden's off the cuff remarks, they needed an extra hand to assist in forming responses in sensitive situation. McDonouugh was not apologetic, "Frankly we get more benefit from the Vice President when he is relaxed and speaking freely, we connect to the common voter that way. Yes, we have to make course corrections when a volley of his words hits a bad note, but we think it is worth it for the value we get." The software reportedly can frame a response when the target audience is indicated and the gaff is identified. The program requires a huge database of cultural and political sensitivities of most active groups and countries from around the world and in the United States.
