You Can Live In The Past Virtually With Apples's ILive  (SAT PAR News Sep 03, 2014) For people who wished they could go back to whatever period of time when they thought life was better, can now do so. Apple announced today the arrival of ILive. ILive is not an app, it is a whole system that is integrated to many devices. Using a complex database in the cloud that contains pictures, video, maps, different types of text, audio, and a new type of information called Virtual Event Triggers. These triggers are data about wind, heat, light and other environmental elements. Working together all these different types of stored data can create a world you used to know. It is not cheap, required is a special modifications for a car, special windows in your house, and all new electronic devices - every one of them. When fully assembled everywhere you look and listen, there will be a period of time you wish to experience again for as long as you like. The truly unique feature is the car additions. All windows including the front windshield will show a world gone by. There has been no safety issue as the real road and road signs along with pedestrians and other objects - such as red lights will still be visible though the 360 degree virtual world. Even going from your car to your house will not disrupt the world you want to live in, using special glasses, elements from that time will continue to be displayed seamlessly from car to house. The uncanny part of ILive is the ability to place long gone people in your environment. In a test by Sat Par News, the people seen through special glasses, or house windows appeared real and part of the environment. The amazing feature is the size of the person is the correct proportion as you approach them, giving a very lifelike feel to them. There is also a range of conversation they can have with you. What this costs depends on how many elements you want in how much of your present world. Estimates of ILive go from $5,000 to have this only on video displays and special glasses, to $50,000 and up for a more complete environment. The only drawback is the amount of time needed for you to add the information to the database - which can be extensive. Apple says the more time you put in constructing the cloud database, the more natural the experience you will get.
